GED (the General Educational Development) Test Preparation
The instructional approach for successfully taking the GED is similar to the instruction used for the SAT and ACT preparation, because EAT, LLC. focuses on the content of the GED, as well as testing strategies needed to pass the test with ease.
Content:
The GED test has heavy test concentration in the areas of: sentence structure, usage, mechanics, organization, and writing skills. Knowing how to write a competent essay that can address the topic, at hand, is also something the GED student will learn how to do with a variety of writing skills. Identifying the different types of multiple choice questions, knowing the differences among the different types of essay genres the GED student will have to know, and learning different reading skills are all the things the student taking the GED will learn and use confidently, in order to pass this test.
Strategies:
Equal to other tests, such as the SAT and ACT, knowing how to approach the GED with smart studying tactics will be a boon to the student taking the GED test. Methods of studying, reading, review periods, and wise planning in order to give sufficient time for instruction and review are items that are taught side by side with the content of the GED.
