SAT and ACT Test Preparation

Excellence in Academics Tutoring offers preparing students for excelling in the SAT and ACT tests. The method by which EAT, LLC. instructs for these tests focuses on two areas which include content and testing strategy.

Content:

Methodical and intensive exposure and practice to the essay, critical reading, and writing skills sections are thoroughly examined, in order for the students to have a mastery of how to test in all of these areas with confidence and “know-how.” Consistent practice with vocabulary, the genres of articles the students will be exposed to, and learning how to think, read, and write critically will enable the student to pass the SAT and ACT tests with high scores.

Strategies:

EAT, LLC. not only thoroughly instructs on the content that will be seen on the SAT and ACT tests, but it also teaches testing tactics that are wise test-taking strategies. It is important to know the testing logic behind the questions, and Excellence in Academics Tutoring teaches students tactics that involve tracking time smartly, the difficulty level of the questions, the tactics for certain sections of the test, and memorizing the directions for each section, in order to use testing time most judiciously.
